Tickets On Sale Now for Candlelight Dinner Featuring “Underground Philadelphia”

We hope you’ll join us on Wednesday March 25 at 6 pm for our annual Candlelight Dinner and General Membership Meeting at Tavistock Country Club.
This year’s program will feature a presentation by authors Harry Kyriakodis and Joel Spivak on “Underground Philadelphia: From Caves and Canals to Tunnels and Transit.”
Kyriakodis and Spivak will be exploring what lies beneath the city — from the caves along the Delaware River used by early Quaker settlers to commuter tunnels, steam, water and gas delivery systems and all the other passageways that are unseen at street level. Their book of the same name, Underground Philadelphia: From Caves and Canals to Tunnels and Transit, will be available for sale and for signing at the dinner.
You can order your tickets online or send us the order form in the March 2020 Bulletin newsletter, which will be arriving in mailboxes soon. You can also call the office at 856-429-7375 or stop by during our open hours: Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays between 1-4 pm and our March “First Sunday” on March 1, 1-3 pm.
We also have a few sponsorship opportunities still available: Gold Sponsors ($500) receive two dinner tickets, a listing in the event program, and a mention on our web site and in our newsletter. Silver Sponsors ($250) receive one dinner ticket, a listing in the event program, and a mention on our web site and in our newsletter. Please contact us at 856-429-7375 or [email protected] to discuss these opportunities.
We look forward to seeing you at the dinner! As usual, we’ll also be offering Society publications for sale that night, playing a “What’s It” game, and holding a silent auction as a fundraiser for the Society.
