The Historical Society’s annual Candlelight Dinner and General Membership Meeting is going virtual this year!

We hope you’ll join us on September 23 at 7 pm for this special Zoom event. The program will feature a presentation from authors Joel Spivak and Harry Kyriakodis on “Underground Philadelphia: From Caves and Canals to Tunnels and Transit.”

Tickets are on sale now! We will share more detailed information about how to access this program via Zoom after you purchase your tickets.

This is a virtual event, but each ticket-holder who lives within 5 miles of our office (343 Kings Highway East, Haddonfield) can receive a no-contact delivery of a special gift bag before the event. Sorry, we can’t ship these gift bags, but you can also arrange a contact-free pick-up at our office.

Each gift bag will include the printed event program, a candle, sweet treats, a special surprise we will all open together during the event, and a “Borough of Haddonfield” tea towel (since you’ll have to do your own dishes this year!).

This is always a fun event, and we look forward to bringing this year’s program to you in the comfort of your own home.

Order your tickets today for the Virtual Candlelight Dinner!

We also have a few sponsorship opportunities still available: Gold Sponsors ($500) receive two event tickets, a listing in the event program, and a mention on our web site and in our newsletter. Silver Sponsors ($250) receive one event ticket, a listing in the event program, and a mention on our web site and in our newsletter. Please contact us at 856-429-7375 or info@haddonfieldhistory.org to discuss these opportunities.

(If you purchased tickets for the in-person Candlelight Dinner that we had originally planned for last March, the Historical Society should have already reached out to you. But feel free to contact us with any questions!)
