Halloween Scavenger Hunt 2020

The Historical Society of Haddonfield is holding a free, family-friendly Halloween Scavenger Hunt from October 1 through October 31, 2020.

Help Lizzie the Witch figure out the answer to our Halloween riddle! Follow the instructions below, and submit your entry to the Historical Society before November 1, 2020 for a chance to win a $50 Haddonfield gift card. Free to enter, but only one entry per person, please. Winners will be notified by November 8, 2020.

There are Historical Society posters hanging in eight locations around downtown Haddonfield. The posters tell a story, and you’ll find one secret word on each poster. Fill in the words on the entry form, and then unscramble the words to find the answer to the riddle.

Click here to go to an online form for completing the scavenger hunt.

Or, if you’d prefer to use a print version of the scavenger hunt form, click here for a PDF you can print out.

The scavenger hunt will take you to the following locations:

Need help finding the posters? You can find the full addresses for the posters here.

Remember, this is a scavenger hunt for social distancing — all posters should be visible from the sidewalk out front! You can read the Historical Society’s Health and Safety During the Pandemic statement here.

This is a family-friendly event, and was created with elementary-school-aged children in mind!
